On Saturday, February 20th from 10:00am to 1:00pm we will be hosting a mentoring session for our members. If you plan on attending, please send an email to so that we can bring the appropriate tools, wood, etc. to assist you. We hope to see you there. Do you have questions? How should I sharpen my bowl gouge? When should I use a roughing gouge? What is the proper lathe RPM for turning spindles or bowls? What does "turning down hill" mean? Can someone help me learn to turn bowls? What can I turn as presents during the holiday season? If you need answers to any of these questions or you have other woodturning related questions, please plan on attending one of our mentoring sessions. Some of the more experienced members of the club will be on hand to answer your questions and let you try some turning under their guidance.
